Topic Practice
Work on the skill behind the question.
Build confidence one concept at a time. Start with a worked example, then use official practice filters to find more questions on the same skill.
Algebra Practice
Linear equations, systems, inequalities, and linear functions. Translate a situation into an equation and interpret the result.
Advanced Math Practice
Quadratics, nonlinear equations, polynomials, exponentials, and functions. Learn to recognize useful algebraic structure.
Problem Solving & Data Analysis Practice
Ratios, percentages, probability, statistics, and data interpretation. Keep track of units and distinguish evidence from assumptions.
Geometry & Trigonometry Practice
Angles, triangles, circles, area, volume, and trigonometric relationships. Sketch the geometry and identify the relevant relationship.
Hard SAT Math Problems
Practice multi-step reasoning and unfamiliar representations. In the official Student Question Bank, choose SAT, Math, a skill, and Hard difficulty.
Desmos Strategies
Use graphs to check intersections, identify zeros, and compare functions. Write the equation first and interpret the graph in context.
A useful Desmos routine
- Decide what the variable represents and what answer is requested.
- Graph both sides of an equation as separate functions to inspect intersections.
- Adjust the viewing window if the relevant part of the graph is not visible.
- Check units, restrictions, and whether a decimal needs an exact interpretation.
Build a topic practice session
Choose one skill, solve a short set without hints, and record what went wrong. Return to a missed problem later and explain the reasoning aloud. Downloadable topic packs will be listed here when available.
